Rain or shine, join friends and family for our traditional Easter Agape Picnic. Join friends and family for our traditional Pascha Picnic at Holy Cross. Immediately following the Agape Vespers, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids, followed by the picnic.  The Church will provide 2 spit-roasted lambs, plus chops and loukanico. Gifts for the kids, tables, chairs and music will also be provided. Please bring food and drinks for your family, plus a little to share. Fired-up grills will be available for those who want to do your own grilling. RSVP and coordinate dishes with the Church Office: or 650-591-4447. A suggested donation of $10 per person over the age of 10, to help defray the costs, will be greatly appreciated.  Sorry but we cannot guarantee specific table reservations.
Please join us in The Oaks after Palm Sunday services.  Enjoy delicious pan-fried cod, salad, roasted potatoes, baked veggies, fruit and Lenten dessert.  Seating is LIMITED to 180 - so don't be left out. Adults, $20; children (6-12), $10; 5 and under, free.  For reservations, text PALM to 41444 (or use our MobileCause app) or register on-line here, or contact the church office at or 650-591-4447. Also, remember: Anastasi Reception following Midnight services - Saturday, April 7; Easter Agape Vespers - Sunday, April 8, 11:30 AM;  Easter Agape Picnic - immediately following Agape Vespers.

Visiting Holy Crosss?
If you are visiting Holy Cross Orthodox Church for the first time, we welcome you and look forward to meeting you. Here are some things that will make your visit a lot easier:

Service Times

Worship service times vary depending on which day of the week you visit. Take a look at the bottom of our home page (choose the Upcoming Services tab) for a list of services and start times.

When you Arrive

If you visit us on a Sunday morning, be sure to introduce yourself to one of the ushers as you enter the church. You will be handed a visitor's form, accompanied with a smile. Fill out the form and give it back to the usher so that our priest, Fr. Peter, can introduce you to our community at the end of the liturgy.

If you have small children and you would like to visit one of our Sunday school classes, be sure to ask one of the ushers where the classrooms are located and you will be directed to the proper room for your child.

Coffee Hour

We invite you to join us at our coffee hour following the service where you will get the opportunity to meet others in our community. We look forward to your visit.
