News Tidbits
Holy Cross will host a dinner and symposium in The Oaks for all Medical and Health Care Professionals to announcing the work of The Pastoral Health Care Network of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and establishing The Order of Saint Luke the Physician and Evangelist here in the Metropolis of San Francisco.  / The Rev. Dr. Stavros Kofinas will be the guest speaker. This ministry under the spiritual guidance of His All Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew is international in scope and provide important support through annual conferences including the International Conference on Rhodes every three years as it gathers our Orthodox Medical and Health Care Professionals throughout the world.  Great Vespers will begin at 5:30 PM followed by the dinner at 7:00 PM. Please contact Father Salmas for further information.
Please join the Philoptochos after liturgy on Sunday, February 11 for Kids’n’Cancer Valentine Sunday and give your heart to a child fighting cancer.  Come and share a delicious and very special coffee hour brunch together with your Holy Cross family and open your hearts to these children who are fighting so hard against this terrible disease. Let’s help them attend a camp for a few days of fun out in nature. They need our support.  Help the Philoptochos raise at least $6,000 again this year for the third year in a row by making a generous donation for the luncheon, purchasing a raffle ticket and “adopting” a bear to show you care.  See you then.  Invite your friends to join us, too!
